Privacy Policy

Záboj is a personal voice AI assistant operated by Prokop Simek, a sole trader registered in the Czech Republic (IČO 88240495, VAT ID CZ9201190328, registered office Skalsko 114, 254 01 Pohoří), the data controller. Contact: prokop.simek@zaboj.app.

Account data - your e-mail address and name (from single sign-on or e-mail registration), used to operate your account.

Voice input - while a conversation is active, microphone audio is streamed over an encrypted connection to our server and to the Google Gemini API to recognize your speech and generate the spoken answer. We do not store audio recordings; we store text transcripts of conversations.

Content - conversation transcripts and titles, assistant settings (voice language, answer length), your pronunciation dictionary, and the configuration of tool servers (MCP) you connect. OAuth tokens for connected tools are stored encrypted and never leave the server.

Location - while a conversation is active and only with your permission, your device location is streamed to our server and to the Google Gemini API so the assistant can answer "where am I / what is nearby". It is used only during the conversation and is not stored.

Connected tools (integrations) - if you connect a service (Google Calendar, Gmail, Microsoft Outlook, Slack, Pipedrive, Attio), the relevant data from that service is accessed on your behalf during a conversation and sent to the Google Gemini API to produce the answer; results may be saved (encrypted) in your conversation history.

Technical data - per-device access keys and session records used to secure your account (manageable under "Connected devices" in Settings).

We process this data solely to provide the service: real-time voice conversation, history synced across your devices, and the tools you connect (performance of a contract, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR; security under legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f)). We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising or tracking.

We use PostHog (EU cloud, eu.i.posthog.com) for product analytics to understand how the app is used and improve it. We record a small set of interaction events (for example: a conversation was started, the paywall was viewed, a subscription was purchased) together with your user ID, your plan, and - on the web only - your e-mail. This is product analytics only: we do not use it for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not track you across other apps or websites (no advertising identifier / IDFA). The iOS app collects no crash logs, no session recordings and no screen captures. See posthog.com/privacy.

We use Google (Gemini API) to process voice and generate responses, EU-based hosting (Hetzner) for our servers and database, and PostHog (EU) for product analytics. Connected tools you enable (Google, Microsoft, Slack, Pipedrive, Attio) receive only what is needed for the action you ask for. Some processors may process data outside the EU under the EU standard contractual clauses and equivalent safeguards.

Data is kept for as long as your account exists. You can delete individual conversations anytime, and you can delete your entire account including all data directly in the app (Settings → Delete account) or on the web - deletion is immediate and irreversible. You can also request deletion at prokop.simek@zaboj.app.

Under the GDPR you have the right of access, rectification, erasure, portability, restriction and objection - write to prokop.simek@zaboj.app. You may lodge a complaint with the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (ÚOOÚ, uoou.gov.cz).

Záboj is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Správcem je Prokop Simek, podnikající fyzická osoba, IČO 88240495, DIČ CZ9201190328, se sídlem Skalsko 114, 254 01 Pohoří; kontakt prokop.simek@zaboj.app. Zpracováváme: údaje účtu (e-mail, jméno), hlasový vstup (během konverzace se zvuk šifrovaně streamuje na náš server a do Google Gemini API kvůli rozpoznání řeči a vygenerování odpovědi; nahrávky neukládáme, ukládáme textové přepisy), obsah (přepisy, názvy konverzací, nastavení, slovník výslovnosti, konfiguraci připojených nástrojů - OAuth tokeny jsou uloženy šifrovaně a neopouštějí server), polohu (jen s tvým svolením a jen během konverzace se streamuje na server a do Gemini kvůli dotazům „kde jsem / co je poblíž"; neukládá se), data z připojených integrací (Google Kalendář, Gmail, Outlook, Slack, Pipedrive, Attio - při dotazu se k nim přistoupí tvým jménem a pošlou se do Gemini pro odpověď) a technické údaje (klíče zařízení a relace).

Analytika: používáme PostHog (EU cloud, eu.i.posthog.com) k produktové analytice - malá sada událostí o používání (např. start konverzace, zobrazení paywallu, nákup předplatného) spolu s tvým user ID, tarifem a (jen na webu) e-mailem. Slouží jen ke zlepšování produktu: nepoužíváme to k reklamě, neprodáváme to a nesledujeme tě napříč jinými aplikacemi či weby (žádné reklamní ID / IDFA). iOS aplikace nesbírá pády, nahrávky obrazovky ani záznamy relací.

Účel a právní základ: výhradně poskytování a zlepšování služby (plnění smlouvy, čl. 6 odst. 1 písm. b) GDPR; analytika a zabezpečení jako oprávněný zájem, čl. 6 odst. 1 písm. f)). Data neprodáváme a nepoužíváme k reklamě ani sledování.Zpracovatelé: Google (Gemini API), hosting Hetzner (EU), PostHog (EU); někteří mohou data zpracovávat i mimo EU na základě standardních smluvních doložek.

Uchování a výmaz: po dobu existence účtu; jednotlivé konverzace i celý účet se všemi daty smažeš přímo v aplikaci (Nastavení → Smazat účet) nebo na webu - smazání je nevratné. Tvá práva dle GDPR (přístup, oprava, výmaz, přenositelnost, námitka) uplatníš na prokop.simek@zaboj.app; dozorovým úřadem je ÚOOÚ. Služba není určena dětem do 13 let.
